Cornwall's cricketers are well placed going into the final day of their Minor Counties Championship game against Cheshire at Truro CC today (Boscawen Park 1100).
The Duchy - buoyed by Sam Hockin's career best 7 for 82 - bowled out the visitors for 168 yesterday morning to lead by 16 following the first innings.
Cornwall then batted all day to end on 313-8. Taylor Williams hit his maiden county century and is 111 not out. Matt Robins made 60.
Cornwall’s lead is 329 with a minimum of 102 overs remaining today.
• Dorset opener Chris Jones added a second innings 188 to his first innings 175 to total 368 runs against Shropshire at Dean Park, Bournemouth.
