Dorset won the toss, chose to bat, were all out for 170 and indebted to James Hayman's 46 off 52 balls batting at number 10.
Wiltshire man of the match Luke Evans took 6-55.
Wiltshire were all out for 153 with Ed Young scoring 35. Jigar Naik took 4-35.
Dorset started their second innings before lunch on the second day and were all out for 249. Luke Webb scored 76, Ed Ellis 65 and Scott Currie 42 before the hosts lost their last six wickets for 22 runs.
Joe King took 3-76 and Ed Young 3-28.
This left Wiltshire 26 overs and the third day to score 267 to win. They were all out for 174 with Uzi Qureshi scoring 42, Brad Dawson 36 not out and Ryan Murray 30. Josh McCoy took 4-63 and Jigar Naik 4-68.
Wiltshire's next championship match is against defending champions Berkshire at Corsham Cricket Club starting at 1100 on Sunday July 8.Joe King took 3-76 and Ed Young 3-28.
