St Just retained the WT Edwards Cup when they beat Werrington by 43 runs at Truro CC last night.
St Just made 145-8 with man of the match Gary Thomas top scoring 58. Werrington were always behind the clock and ended on 102 all out in the last over. Adam Williams took 3-8 and there were five run outs.
Troon beat Falmouth in the Cornwall County Twenty20 Cup to qualify for the finals day at Redruth CC on Sunday August 14. They won by 26 runs with Matthew Rowe hitting a century.
In the Mining Evening League semi final, Perranarworthal beat Mount Hawke & Porthtowan by six wickets and will meet Crofty Holman in next Tuesday’s final at Camborne CC.
