Cornwall cricketers staged a fightback on the opening day of their Unicorns Minor Counties Championship opener against defending champions Berkshire at Wargrave.
Having been 52-5 the Werrington pair of Adam Hodgson and Mark Gribble rescued the innings.
Hodgson made 55 and Gribble 47 to get the Cornwall total up to 191 all out.
At the close Berkshire were 144 for 4 after 37 overs.

Bristol beat Penzance in their Royal London Club Championship third round tie at Failand.
Bristol were bowled out for 125. Penzance were shot out for only 40 to lose by 85 runs.
In the Cornwall Women’s League Penzance beat Grampound Road by seven wickets.
Tonight’s Vinter Cup first quarter-final between Camborne and Beacon has been postponed following torrential rain.
