MINOR COUNTIES Trophy wins for Cornwall and Wiltshire

Cornwall and Wiltshire cricketers made winning starts to the Minor Counties season yesterday with Unicorns KO Trophy preliminary round victories.
The Duchy beat Dorset by seven wickets at North Perrott CC while Wiltshire edged to a two-wicket win over Wales Minor Counties at Warminster CC with an over to spare.
Cornwall now visit holders Berkshire in the knockout trophy first round on Sunday May 20 when Devon, who received a preliminary round bye, host Wiltshire.
Dorset were restricted to 155-9 in their 50 overs at North Perrott.
Peter Trego bowled an impressive spell taking three for 12 from 10 overs at the start of the innings.
Cornwall replied with 156-3 in 36.2 overs with opener and new county skipper Matt Rowe making 53 not out and his brother Tom 47.
Joe Voke hit 77 as Wales made 212-7 at Warminster. Wiltshire reached 213-8 in the 49th over with Uzair Qureshi top scoring with 80.
