Wiltshire County Cricket Club's preparations for the 2014 competitive season with a 50-overs-a-side friendly against Gloucestershire CCC 2nd XI at South Wilts CC today have been washed out.
Without a ball being bowled it's a case of rain stopped play at Salisbury... yesterday.
This year Wiltshire CCC will be captained by big-hitting Michael Coles and include former Gloucestershire all-rounder Ed Young, who is playing for Potterne CC this summer.
South Wilts’ James Hayward returns to the county side after three years.
Wiltshire CCC Michael Coles (capt, Corsham CC) Tahir Afridi (Henley CC) Tom Alsop (Hampshire CCC Academy) Joe Breet (Lechlade CC) Neil Clark (Potterne CC) Tom Foley (Corsham CC) James Hayward (South Wilts CC) Ed Kilbee (Goatacre CC) Adam Miles (wk, Cardiff CC) Ashur Morrison (Corsham CC) Jack Mynott (South Wilts CC) Jake Roberts (Potterne CC) Ed Young (Potterne CC)
