SOUTHERN PREMIER Frome Town 5 St Neots Town 4

Frome Town AFC club crestAdrian Foster's resurgent Frome Town soared to 12th in the Southern League Premier Division following last night’s thrilling 5-4 comeback win over St Neots Town at the Aldersmith Stadium.

The 16th placed Saints led four times before Frome recorded a third successive home win.

Frome top scorer Ben Wood made it 1-1 in the 38th minute after Saints’ Devon-born striker Shane Tolley scored the first of his hat-trick on 20 minutes.

Lewis Hilliard restored Saints’ lead from a 41st minute penalty cancelled out by Matt Groves 44th minute leveller.

Former Truro City striker Tolley made it 3-2 seconds later.

Rhys Baggridge replied for the Robins in the 53rd minute only for 29-year-old Tolley to complete his hat-trick two minutes later as St Neots surged ahead for a fourth time.

Two minutes later Jack Vallis made it 4-4 before Frome took the lead for the first time in the match from Kris Miller’s 75th minute penalty.

On Saturday Frome host fourth places Stourbridge, St Neots entertain sixth placed Bideford.

 Odd Down are through to the Western League Les Phillips Cup semi finals following tonight's 2-1 win at local rivals Bradford Town.

Down join Bath rivals Larkhall Athletic, Brislington and Bristol First Division-outfit Cribbs in the semis.
