The arctic weather conditions continue to cause problems for sports teams today and those looking ahead to big games on Saturday.
Super supporters – as they proved last weekend by pitching in at rugby grounds in South Wales (notably Cardiff Blues) and football grounds at Salisbury City and Newport County – can play their part in whether games go ahead or not.
Bath's Western League Premier side Larkhall Athletic are appealing for fans' help in clearing their Plain Ham pitch of snow so that Saturday's rescheduled FA Vase tie at home to Sussex side Peacehaven & Telscombe has the best possible chance of going ahead.
If any other clubs want to shout-out to fans for help in snow-clearing etc please get in touch with SWSN through usual channels, ie tweet @swsportsnews or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
