Bristol Rovers FC boss Darrell Clarke has swooped for his first summer signing: defender James Clarke.
Aylesbury-born Clarke, 25, is a former Woking, Salisbury City, Oxford City and Oxford United defender.
Rovers return to League Two after just one season in the Conference (now the National League) after beating Grimsby on penalties in last month's Wembley play-off final.
Rovers boss Clarke has already agreed terms for midfielder Scott Sinclair - another former Salisbury player - to extend his contract with the Pirates into next season.
