Striker Nick Chadwick has signed for Plymouth Argyle until summer 2013 following his free transfer from Stockport County.
The 29-year-old forward - in his second spell at Plymouth - has scored three goals in six games since arriving at Home Park from Edgeley Park on loan in November.
Chadwick said: “I am delighted to have signed. When I first came back, I said I would see how it goes and it’s gone really well.
“I’m delighted the club has been able to facilitate me and my family coming down.
“I’m looking forward to the challenge: onwards and upwards.
“I would like to wish Stockport all the best for the rest of the season. It is a good club, but I couldn’t turn down the possibility of league football.”
Chadwick first joined Argyle from Everton in February 2005 and is credited with scoring the greens’ fastest recorded goal.
He raced forward to net in 11.83 seconds against Crystal Palace in a 2-0 Championship win at Home Park in December 2005.
