DORSET'S DAVIS LEADS GIRLS GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

Dorset's Hayley Davis tees off with a three-shot lead and two final rounds to play today in the 2011 English girls’ championship at Ellesborough Golf Club, Buckinghamshire.
The 18-year-old from Ferndown GC is level par after 36 holes, after adding a second round of two-over 74 to her opening 70.
Remedy Oak's Georgia Hall is six strokes off the lead in seventh place on 150 following opening rounds of 77 and 73.
Long Ashton's Bethan Popel - the South West ladies champion - starts the final 36 holes 10 strokes behind Davis and in 15th place after opening rounds of 79 and 75.
In the Under 15 championship at Mentmore Golf Club, Dorset's Kyra Horlock (Broadstone) and Sophie Keech (Lyme Regis) are six strokes off the lead on three over 147 following the first two rounds. They also play two final rounds today.
Aimee Pontee (Royal Guernsey) is also joint eighth on 147 before play began this morning.
