SOMERSET STARS IN GB HOCKEY SQUAD

Bridgwater-born brothers Richard and Simon Mantell are both included in Great Britain men’s hockey squad for next month’s Champions Trophy in New Zealand.
Reading forward Simon Mantell, 27 (pictured) returns to international action having missed England’s European bronze medal-winning campaign in August.
His 30-year-old brother Richard, a defender with 115 caps and 49 goals for England, also plays for Reading and is a penalty corner specialist.
The Somerset hockey stars have won 41 GB caps ahead of next month’s tournament.
The Champions Trophy runs from December 3-11 and features eight of the world’s top sides.
Great Britain will compete in Pool A alongside world champions Australia, Spain and Asian Games champions Pakistan while Pool B comprises Germany, Korea, the Netherlands and hosts New Zealand.
The squad heads to Belgium for warm-up matches next week on Wednesday November 16 (1700 GMT) and Thursday November (1200 GMT).
