EHL newcomers TeamBath Buccaneers host relegation rivals Aldridge on the last day of the regular Women’s Conference West season knowing a point – or all three - will ensure their national league status.
Buccs are seventh in the table on 18 points, two ahead of ninth placed Aldridge and eighth placed Swansea with a far superior goal difference ahead of Saturday’s home match (1400).
The Bath side will be looking to get back on track following a 2-1 derby defeat at Firebrands, where Zoe Shipperley scored following a 63rd minute penalty corner to reduce the deficit.
Buccs were promoted to the EHL last season after clinching the West Clubs Womens League Premier One title by six points.
