Gloucestershire RFU badgeGloucestershire Under 20s scored a 10-try pool four win over 2013 national U20 champions Berkshire at Cinderford RFC.

Full back Jack Skelton’s try put the home side ahead on 17 minutes. Joe Murphy kicked a penalty to reduce the gap to 5-3 on the half hour before Gloucestershire eased further ahead when skipper Lance Randall scored a push-over try close. Skelton converted for a 12-3 interval lead.

Number eight Will Hodgetts crashed over for a third try on 45 minutes before Luke Panting scored the bonus point try after 53.

Ollie Young, Dan Brooker and Jake Holcombe scored tries in quick succession as the floodgates opened and Gloucestershire powered ahead 37-3.

Electric Ed Sheldon raced in for another try - converted by Locke - before Skelton scored his second.  With three minutes to go Hodgetts scored again, Locke added the extras and Gloucestershire had secured runners-up spot behind unebeaten Kent.

Miks Panaho's Gloucestershire side now visit Cornwall in the Under 20 quarter finals with the winner at home in the semis.
