Tomorrow's Rotherham Titans v Cornish Pirates game has been postponed tomorrow and tenatively rescheduled for Sunday (1400) subject to another Clifton Lane pitch inspection tomorrow morning. 

I plan to post tomorrow's SWSN rugby fixtures over the next two hours but PLEASE if you know of any pitch inspections, or games being called off tweet @swsportsnews so that our rugby followers – and in most cases your supporters – get early notice of the state of play.

Cornwall keep faith with Launceston’s popular Ben Hilton to lead the side in this season’s county championship campaign, which kicks off away to Gloucestershire at Cinderford RFC on May 4.

Cornish All Blacks lock forward Hilton had the honour of skippering the famous blacks and golds in the Bill Beaumont Cup last season and was Trelawny's Army Supporters Club player of the year in 2011.


U20s RUGBY Championship quarter-final line-up

Thousands of sports-supporting students are expected to attend tonight’s British Universities & Colleges Sport Premier South A men’s varsity rugby clash between University of Exeter and University of Bath’s first XVs at Exeter Chiefs’ state-of-the-art Sandy Park (1945).

Exeter are second in the table and on a four-match winning streak heading into their last BUCS league game against fourth placed Bath, beaten 12-10 at Swansea last time out.
