Poole Town's Southern League Premier Boxing Day Dorset derby against Dorchester Town has been switched to the Magpies' Avenue Stadium (1200).

The pitch switch - made on Monday - comes to ensure today's derby has the best possible opportunity of being played as Dorchester boast an all-weather pitch.

The switch was made with the approval of the league and thanks to the co-operation of officials at Dorchester, who will now visit Poole in the "return" fixture Bank Holiday Monday April 13 (1500).
