New deal for promotion-winning Johnson at Torquay

Johnson reinvigorated a side languishing in mid-table following his September appointment and oversaw an astonishing turnaround that eventually saw the yellows win National League South by 10 points.


YEOVIL TOWN New boss signs Somerset-born Wilkinson

ytfc logoNew Yeovil Town manager Darren Sarll has made his first signing of the summer by securing the services of Somerset-born Stevenage defender Luke Wilkinson subject to clearance.

Wilkinson, 28 and originally from Wells, arrives at Huish Park on a free transfer after making 118 appearances for Stevenage during a three-year spell in League Two.

Matt Cusack's Ashes won the cup by beating Andrew Westgarth's Falmouth Town FC 1-0 in front of a cup record 585 crowd at St Blazey AFC thanks to wing back Dave Barker's dramatic 88th minute headed winner.


Oxford playmaker set to join Torquay United

TUFC new logoOxford United midfielder Armani Little has signed a pre-contract agreement with Gary Johnson's National League new boys Torquay United.

Little will join Gary Johnson's Gulls on a two-year deal this summer following the expiry of his current contract with Oxford United.

On the possible sale of the club, Fry says:“Over the last two weeks we have reduced the numerous parties expressing an interest down to a shortlist and a decision on which one to adopt will be made over the next few days.”
