AFC ST AUSTELL new management team seek friendlies

lee-hodges2New AFC St Austell boss Lee Hodges is seeking pre-season friendly opponents for the ambitious South West Peninsula Premier West Lillywhites.

Hodges said: "We are looking for friendly games and am initially thinking Devon would be nice - because all our league games will be in Cornwall next season - but we are happy to hear from anyone who would like to give us a game in pre-season. It's also good to get a 'name' as well but we'll have to see..."


TORQUAY UNITED sign Brazilian keeper Cavagnari

Gary Johnson's newly promoted National League yellows Torquay United FC have signed Brazilian goalkeeper Lucas Covolan Cavagnari from Worthing.

Cavagnari, 27, is a former Brazil Under 20s international and joined giants Vasco Da Gama as a youngster.

NON-LEAGUE Promotion play-offs centre stage tonight

Tonight’s winners will travel to Woking, runners-up to Gary Johnson's runaway National League South champions Torquay United, who finished 10 points clear following Saturday’s emphatic 4-0 victory at St Albans City.
