paul wotton Paul Wotton's first competitive game in charge of Southern League Premier South new boys Truro City will be away to Met Police tomorrow.

Former Plymouth Argyle assistant manager Wotton (pictured) was appointed new White Tigers boss on a two-year deal at the start of July and will be assisted by former Truro City striker Stewart Yetton, who also started his career at hometown club Plymouth.

YEOVIL TOWN New boss signs Somerset-born Wilkinson

ytfc logoNew Yeovil Town manager Darren Sarll has made his first signing of the summer by securing the services of Somerset-born Stevenage defender Luke Wilkinson subject to clearance.

Wilkinson, 28 and originally from Wells, arrives at Huish Park on a free transfer after making 118 appearances for Stevenage during a three-year spell in League Two.

The Saltash-born 25-year-old will aim to help Lee Hobbs' Parkway go one better than last term, when the yellows finished runners-up in their debut season in the Western League Premier division.

Walter C Parson South West Peninsula League Cup draw

SWPL logoHolders Saltash United FC begin their defence of the Walter C Parson South West Peninsula League Cup at home to East Cornwall rivals Torpoint Athletic FC on Saturday October 26.

Matt Cusack's Ashes won the cup by beating Andrew Westgarth's Falmouth Town FC 1-0 in front of a cup record 585 crowd at St Blazey AFC thanks to wing back Dave Barker's dramatic 88th minute headed winner.
