Three extra time goals fired Leeds United into the FA Cup fifth round following a 4-1 win at Championship rivals Plymouth.

Substitutes Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville combined to put United 3-1 up before a 117^th minute own goal by Argyle striker Ryan Hardie capped a comprehensive United win in relentless rain at Home Park.

Manager Macca Brown was scathing about his young Saltash squad after they threw away another lead to succumb to defeat at the Waterways Stadium on Saturday.

Brown accused the players of having a ‘mentality problem’ and ‘weakness of mind’ and said they needed to grow up quickly if they were to turn the season around.

It was a case of After the Lord Mayor’s Show for Saltash as the memories of last week’s win over leaders Clevedon were swept away at the Waterways Stadium.

Winger Kieran O’Melia gave the Ashes a 25th minute lead with his 10th goal of the season but after that the visitors stepped up to take the honours.

Saltash were left chasing the game after conceding twice in the opening 16 minutes against Dan Hart's well organised Buckland side at the Waterways Stadium on Saturday.

Ben Carter’s direct free kick gave the visitors a seventh minute breakthrough and Cieran Bridger doubled the lead to give the Ashes an uphill battle which they couldn’t win.

JACK Alexander continued his current scoring form with a second successive double strike as Ivybridge Town completed a 2-0 home victory over Cullompton Rangers at Erme Valley on Saturday.

The goal brought Alexander’s tally to 12 for the season following his double in the previous week’s 4-0 away win over Newton Abbot Spurs.

Saltash suffered their fifth successive defeat - which includes three in cup competitions - as they were edged out of the Les Phillips Cup by Helston at the Waterways Stadium on Tuesday night.

The Ashes took a fifth minute lead through Joe Preece’s deflected effort but Jacob Smith’s fierce drive levelled it up 15 minutes later.
