Fourth placed Plymouth Argyle remain two points clear of sixth placed Sunderland, who have a game in hand, after they drew 0-0 at Home Park.

Argyle boss Steven Schumacher said: “It was a good performance, at half time I said we needed to concentrate because second half the way both teams have been playing over the past few months one chance was probably going to win it.”

While Saltash remain on course for an excellent fourth place finish on their return to the Western League, you get the impression Millbrook can’t wait for the campaign to finish.

In their inaugural season at this level, the small club’s resources on and off the field have been stretched at times and there have been ups and downs in results as a consequence.

Remember the time when Millbrook kept clean sheets and scored lots of goals?

Seems a long time ago now but it was only in November and December, when a 4-0 win over Exmouth came in the middle of six successive clean sheets and an unbeaten run of 10 games.
