The Cornwall Cricket League plans to introduce competitive games later this month as recreational step four adapted cricket has been given the Government green light to start next Saturday (July 11). The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) are set to publish playing guidance to allow “competitive cricket matches with adjustments to respect hygiene and social distancing” in England this week.

St Just Cricket Club remain 10 points clear of second placed Truro CC and 16 points ahead of Penzance CC with two games remaining in the final week of the 2017 Cornwall Cricket League.
It could not be more exciting as the top two clash at Truro on the final day of the season, next Saturday.

Truro CC won the ECB Cornwall Premier League at the last after overhauling leaders St Just CC in their final winner-takes-all top two clash.
The home side had to win the final Premier game of the season and better St Just by nine points to take the title in front of a large crowd at Boscawen Park.

Pace setters Bath CC beat West of England Premier Cricket league rivals Bristol CC by five wickets in the ECB Club Championship regional final at North Parade yesterday.
Bristol won the toss and opted to bat, scoring 200-8 in their 45 overs. Bath raced to 205-5 in 28 overs to set up another home clash, in the final 16 against Sussex side Normandy on Sunday July 16.
