After the first day was lost to rain but Cornwall made impressive progress to wrap up victory inside five sessions.
Player/coach Greg Smith, the former Derbyshire and Essex all-rounder, claimed his competition-best figures of five for 35 to help skittle Oxfordshire for 126 in their first innings.
Having slipped to 19 for four at the start of their second innings there was little chance of Oxfordshire escaping but Dowend batsman Jordan Garrett delayed the inevitable by making a battling half century.
Garrett eventually fell to seamer Andrew Libby who enjoyed himself on his home ground and finished with four wickets.
Somerset all-rounder Peter Trego flayed Wales’ attack for the second time in the match to set up Devon’s 217 runs win at Pontarddulais.
Trego followed up his first innings 159 by pummelling 80 not out from only 32 balls to set up Devon’s second innings declaration at 144 for five off just 15 overs.
Trego reached his half century from 19 balls and his innings included 64 in boundaries - six sixes and seven fours.
Wales were set an improbable 367 for victory but were unable to bat out for the draw as they were dismissed for 148 with Trego playing his part by dislodging Glamorgan batsman Connor Brown debutant Iestyn Rees on his home ground.
Rain prevented any play on the final day of all four matches in the Eastern Division and in the Western Division matches at Shrewsbury and Chester.
