Wales NC face Gloucestershire today in a 50 overs Showcase match at the Sudbrook club in Caldicot, where England Under-19 wicketkeeper Harry Wallace will make his debut.

Wallace, the son of former Glamorgan wicketkeeper Mark, is on Glamorgan’s academy and made his England Under-19s debut in the recent One Day International series against South Africa followed by the Youth Test at Beckenham.

Wales have included six contracted Glamorgan player – Callum Nicholls, Henry Hurle, Jack Hope-Bell, Alex Horton, Romano Franco and Ben Morris – in their 15-man squad for the match.

Last season Wales NC completed a double over Gloucestershire in their two T20 matches played at Usk with Nicholls, Hurle, Morris and off-spinner Ollie Rayner all involved.

Staffordshire’s scheduled Showcase match against Leicestershire at Grace Road on Sunday has been cancelled.

Utilita Bowl Nursery Ground: Hampshire 349-7 (Fletcha Middleton 106, Ben Brown 80, Dominic Kelly 51, Felix Organ 43, Charlie Dunnett 3-34), Berkshire 270 (Johnny Connell 79, James Isbel 78, Charlie Dunnett 57, Felix Organ 5-52, Nick Gubbins 3-35). Hampshire won by 79 runs.
