Josh Neufville (14) Albi Skendi (19) and Joe Quigley (88p) scored for the Glovers, who included new signing Reuben Reid.
Returning Reid was twice denied by debutant Ethan Ross, who - like the opposition striker - had signed for his new club earlier in the day.
Bristol-born Reid, 32, in his second spell at Yeovil has signed for the Somerset club until the end of the season.
Lincoln City keeper Ross, 23, has joined Weymouth on loan until the end of the season.
Yeovil have now won three on the spin since their 6-1 defeat at top of the table Torquay on Boxing Day.
The Glovers beat Aldershot 3-0 with goals by Courtney Duffus (2) and Skendi two days later at Huish.
Darren Sarll's side then scored a dramatic 2-1 win over Torquay on Saturday thanks to Luke Wilkinson's last minute winner after Neufville levelled on 87 minutes to cancel out Aaron Nemane's 46th minute opener for the runaway leaders.
Yeovil have now won four of their last five league games and although they have only edged up to 19th the National League is so tightly packed the Glovers are just five points behind eighth placed FC Halifax Town with a game in hand.
Brian Stock's Weymouth were due to visit basement side Dover in the league on Saturday but the game has been postponed as Athetic players and staff are self-isolating.
The Terras next game is at home to National League North strugglers Darlington in the FA Trophy on Saturday January 16.
Next up for Yeovil is next Tuesday's league trip to second-from-bottom Barnet (1945ko).
