Hosts Dorset and resurgent Cornwall face-off today at Parkstone on the final day of the Matchplay Shield with everything to play for.

In yet another exciting, down-to-the-wire South Week finish, Dorset and Gloucestershire vie for the title.

Dorset tee off the final day as favourites, with 3.5 matchplay points following three wins and a halved match.

Gloucestershire are second with three points from three wins and not looking back since their day two 8-6 defeat by the host county.

While Cornwall have added spice to the final day by bouncing back from a heavy defeat by Gloucestershire in style to beat bouyant English County finalists Somerset yesterday.

Gloucestershire face a testing final day game against Devon knowing they also rely on Cornwall becoming the first side to beat Dorset this week.

It promises to be a cracking final day Friday!
