Clifton bid to build on their winning national league start when they host Olton & West Warwickshire in the second round of the Women’s Premier Division tomorrow (Coombe Dingle, 1300).
Fleur Horner’s blues – who finished fourth in the top flight last term - opened with a 3-1 win at Slough while Olton & West Warwicks lost 2-1 at home to last season’s runners-up Leicester.
Defending Women’s Conference West champions Buckingham host Isca University (1200) with both sides eager to build on winning starts.
Fellow opening round winners Gloucester City host newly promoted 2012 West Clubs Women’s Hockey League champions Taunton Vale (St Peters High School 1200).
Women’s Conference West fixtures, all start at 1200 BHE v Staines, Buckingham v Isca University, Gloucester City v Taunton Vale, Swansea City v Stourport (King George V Playing Fields, Sketty) Trojans v Firebrands (Stoneham Lane, Eastleigh).

• The new 2012-13 West Clubs Women's Hockey League season starts tomorrow with matches in Premier One and St Petroc's 2.
Exe and Team Bath Buccaneers will be seeking hasty returns to the national league following relegation at the end of last season.
The other new team in the regional top flight are Lydney, last season's Premier 2 champions.
