Plymouth College are through to the Daily Mail RBS Schools Under 18 Cup quarter finals for the first time following a 21-17 win over Stowe School at the Brickfields home of Plymouth Albion earlier today.
Plymouth's 17 year old scrum half George Stephenson scored a superb match-winning second half try under the posts, converted by England Under 18 fly half Henry Slade to put the unbeaten home side 21-10 ahead on their way to victory.
Captain Josh Tolan, playing at centre, and Slade - who converted all three tries - scored first half tries to put Plymouth 14-3 ahead at half time.
Plymouth now face last year's winners Whitgift School at home on a date to be arranged in February.
The College first XV - coached by Richard Edwards and Richard Thompson - have now won all 16 competitive matches this season.
Whitgift School beat St Benedict's, Ealing 37-5 in their round seven home tie.
