Graham Dawe's Plymouth Albion RFC have signed hooker James Penman ahead of the 2015-16 National League 1 campaign.
New Zealand born Penman, 26, played in Plymouth's last three Championship matches after joining Albion on loan from Cambridge RFC at the tailend of last season.
Penman's Albion return comes in the wake of Taunton-born hooker Tedd Stagg's departure and subsequent switch to Championship side Doncaster Knights.
Penman said: “Graham Dawe has been very supportive and is one of the main reasons why I have signed for next season.
“With Graham being an international hooker he will hopefully pass-on a lot of his knowledge."
