EXETER CHIEFS swoop for all-action Australian forward

Exeter Chiefs logoExeter Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter has swooped for New South Wales Waratahs’ Australian international all-action forward Dave Dennis on a three year deal head of next season.

Having already recruited experienced Australian international prop Greg Holmes from the Queensland Reds, Baxter is now adding another Wallaby to the club’s powerhouse pack.

Dennis, 30 earlier this month, is equally at home at lock or in the back-row.

Signing Dennis, who has been capped 18 times by the Wallabies, is yet another significant addition to the Chiefs ranks following recent captures Holmes and Bath’s talented back Ollie Devoto.

Six foot four Dennis made his Waratahs debut in 2007 and has already notched up over 90 Super Rugby appearances for the club, for which he was appointed skipper in March 2013.

• Bath Rugby today confirmed England hooker Rob Webber, 32 will leave the club at the end of the season to join Premiership rivals Sale Sharks.

Webber joined Bath in 2012 and has made 70 appearances in the blue, black and white as well as representing England at last year's Rugby World Cup.
