It's free to see national Premier Korfball League action in Bristol today as Bristol Thunder host South London's long established Bec Korfball Club at Bristol Grammar School (1430).

Tooting-based Bec were founded in 1948 and celebrated their 70th anniversary last year.

As the rain continues to pour outside the South West Sports News window it becomes increasingly frustrating to seek some rays of comfort from a summer that has not - yet - mirrored last year's scorcher.

My immediate thought goes to those who rely on dry ground(s), at least, to play their summer sport.
