National League South champions Torquay United will begin building for a new challenge after winning promotion to the National League at the first attempt.

Gary Johnson – who became Gulls boss last September with United languishing 14th in the table - has kept his early promise to deliver overdue success to the South Devon club and it's supporters by leading United to their first promotion since 2009.

Wimborne Town FC will defend the Dorset FA Senior Cup against Poole Town FC at Dorchester Town FC on Tuesday April 9 (1945ko).
The Magpies beat Bridport FC 3-2 at The Cuthbury while the Dolphins won 2-0 at Weymouth FC.
Both semis had twice been postponed by wet weather and were switched to the original away club's home grounds last night.
