NATIONAL COUNTIES TROPHY Oxfordshire choose Banbury

Banbury’s White Post Road ground has been confirmed as the venue for Oxfordshire’s National Counties Trophy quarter-final against Suffolk on Sunday July 17.

The game was the only one of the quarter-final ties without a confirmed venue after the quarter-final draw was made earlier this week.

In the other ties holders Berkshire will face Wales NC at the Falkland club in Newbury.

Cambridgeshire, who were the first side to qualify for the quarter-finals, will return to Burwell & Exning CC , scene of their Group Three victories over Cheshire and Shropshire, for their tie against Cumbria, who were beaten finalists in 2019 and 2021.

Dorset, who won the Trophy for the only time in 1988, will play five-times winners Devon at North Perrott.

National Counties Trophy quarter finals draw:

Oxfordshire v Suffolk (Banbury), Berkshire v Wales NC (Falkland CC), Cambridgeshire v Cumbria (Burwell & Exning), Dorset v Devon (North Perrott). Ties to be played on Sunday July 17.
