Today Cornwall play Wiltshire in the MCCA Trophy at Redruth CC with play set to get underway at 11.00.
There was a dramatic day’s play in the Jolly’s Drinks ECB Cornwall Premier League yesterday with results in the balance until the final over in all but one of the five games.
Truro top the table thanks to an unbroken eighth wicket partnership of 36 against Werrington at Boscawen Park. Werrington made 220 for 9 with Truro reaching 223 for 7 in the penultimate over.
There was a thrilling game at Callington, where Falmouth made the big total of 279 for 8. The game was drawn as Callington ended up just four runs short of victory on 276 for 4 with Jake Libby making 107.
Grampound Road’s last wicket pair of Chris Roberts and Chris Hunkin survived 25 balls to ensure a draw at St Just. The home team scored 272 with Grampound Road ending on 203 for 9.
Defending champions Paul pulled off an excellent win at Troon after being dismissed for 170. Troon lost their last six wickets for 33 to end up with 163 and lose by just 7 runs.
The one decisive victory was at St Austell who defeated Newquay (151) by eight wickets.
Camborne and Redruth remain unbeaten in County Division One where the results were:

Launceston 134 lost to Camborne 138-4
Redruth 297-6 beat Ludgvan 144 all out
Truro seconds 214 -8 beat Penzance 148 all out
