Cheltenham are pushing for promotion in League Two – in fifth place – while Pep Guardiola’s Man City are fifth... in the Premier League.
The tie was first out of the “hat” drawn by Peter Crouch.
Next up? Promotion-chasing AFC Bournemouth at home to John Yems’ sixth League Two Crawley Town, who knocked out a weakened Leeds 3-0 on Sunday.
Ryan Lowe’s League Plymouth Argyle will travel to Premier League basement side Sheffield United, who only just edged past Bristol Rovers 3-2 at the Memorial Ground at the weekend.
In two all-Championship ties, Bristol City travel to Millwall while Swansea City host Nottingham Forest.
