SW FOOTBALL: TONIGHT'S NON-LEAGUE ACTION

Eighth placed Weston-super-Mare host ninth placed Basingstoke in the Conference South tonight (Woodspring Stadium 1945).

Craig Laird’s soaring Seagulls are looking to build on Saturday’s 5-2 home win over Farnborough when striker Sahr Kabba scored a quickfire first half hat-trick.

Kabba’s treble came as Weston scored four times in a nine minute first half spell.

Salisbury City return to league action at basement side Thurrock bidding to display the form that enabled them to win to the FA Cup third round before Saturday’s valiant 3-1 defeat League One high flyers Sheffield United.

City will be without Saturday scorer Lloyd Macklin, who has returned to parent club Torquay United following his loan spell and is set to plays in the Gulls’ Devon St Luke’s Cup tie at Willand Rovers tonight (Silver Street 1945).

United’s side is also set to include fellow 20-year-old Ed Palmer – newly returned from his loan spell at Truro City – as well as fit-again central defender Brian Saah, 25.

In Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West Didcot host Wimborne and Poole Town are at home to Cinderford (Tatnam 1945) while in the Red Insure Southern League Cup third round it's Bideford v Clevedon Town (Sports Ground 1945) and AFC Totton v Swindon Supermarine (Testwood Stadium 1945).

Tiverton Town are set to visit Barnstaple in the St Luke's Cup (Mill Road 1945) while Carlsberg South West Peninsula Leaguie leaders Launceston host second placed Bodmin Town in the Cornwall Senior Cup (Pennygillam 1930).
