FA VASE LATEST: LARKS AWAY TO BAY IN LAST 16

larkhall athletic club crestBath’s Larkhall Athletic have been drawn away to unbeaten Kent League leaders Herne Bay in the FA Vase fifth round on Saturday February 11.

The Larks - managed by Wayne Thorne - are the last remaining Western League side in the last 16 following Saturday’s 3-2 win at Reading Town.

Gloucestershire’s Hellenic outfit Shortwood United have been drawn at home to Ashington following Saturday’s 1-0 win over Enfield 1893 at the Meadowbank Ground.

Herne Bay won 2-1 at Newcastle Benfield while Ashington won 3-2 at Newport Pagnell Town.

Unbeaten Bay have won 16 of their 18 league matches.

Nat Auckland (2) and Nick Hudson netted for the Larks in Berks.

Western League leaders Willand Rovers lost 3-1 at home to Staveley Miners Welfare while title rivals Bitton were beaten 3-1 by West Auckland Town.
