Bideford stretched their superb Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West unbeaten run to 20 matches following a 2-1 win at third from bottom Clevedon Town.
Ian Sampson (33 mins) and skipper Matt Hockley (63) scored for Sean Joyce’s Robins as they hit the 70-point mark by notching their 21st league win.
With 10 games remaining Bideford now have a 13-point lead over second placed Hungerford Town, who have two matches in hand on the runaway leaders.
Resurgent Tiverton Town extended their unbeaten league run to nine matches with a 2-0 home win over Bishops Cleeve to edge above their visitors from Gloucestershire to 10th in the 21-team table.
Strike pair Michael Nardiello (48 mins) and Jules Emati-Emati (76) scored for Mark Saunders’ yellows who had not played a league match since their 3-1 home win over Gosport Borough on January 21.
Tiverton may have won by more but for a brilliant save by Villagers keeper James Nortei to spectacularly palm over Andy Taylor’s late goal-bound free kick.
In the Toolstation Western League Premier Division, Brislington beat Larkhall Athletic 1-0, Radstock Town won 2-1 at home to Wells City and Street beat visitors Longwell Green Sports by the same score.
In the Devon St Lukes Cup quarter finals, Buckland Athletic beat Torquay United 3-0 while Plymouth Argyle overcame Plymouth side Elburton Villa 3-2 at Home Park thanks to goals by Luke Daley (4 mins, 53) and Isaac Vassell (51). Justin Crowley (52) and Tony Biddle (56) scored for Villa.
Liskeard Athletic beat St Austell 2-0 at Lux Park to progress to the Cornwall Senior Cup semi finals.
