NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL Nardiello nets Tiverton winner

Clevedon Town's former Bath City winger Scott MurrayTiverton Town soared to second in Evo Stik League Southern Division One South & West following a 2-1 home win over Taunton Town at Ladysmead tonight.

In-form forward Joe Bushin – who scored both goals in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Shortwood United – opened the scoring on 29 minutes in front of 295.

Rod Marsh (pen) replied for Leigh Robinson’s Peacocks with his fifth goal of the season on 76 minutes but recalled Tiverton striker Michael Nardiello wrapped up the yellows' fourth league victory after winning and scoring an 87th minute penalty.

Mark Saunders’ side are now unbeaten in six.

Former Bath and Bristol City winger Scott Murray (pictured) scored an 81st minute leveller as Clevedon Town drew 1-1 at home to Oxfordshire’s Didcot Town, who led through Richard Pierson’s 50th minute opener.

Taunton are 11th in the 22-team table, Didcot 14th and Clevedon 16th after six matches.

Scorers Joe Stradling, Jamie Lyons and Mike Jones added to an own goal as Larkhall Athletic won 4-0 at Wells City in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division.

Victory lifted the Larks to fifth while Ross Middleton's Ilfracombe Town won 4-1 at Street with goals from ed Yeo, James Mayne, Karl Baggaley and Shaun Copp (pen).

The Bluebirds soar to third after three top flight wins in a row.
