Poole Town extended their lead at the Southern League Division One South & West summit to four points following last night's top versus bottom 2-0 home win over Winchester City at Tatnam.
Former Winchester ace Micheal Charles (59 mins) and Carl Preston (61) scored for the promotion-chasing Dolphins, now with three games in hand on second placed Hungerford Town with 10 remaining.
Midfielder Preston, 21, has made over 200 appearances for the Dolphins, more than 150 of them in the league.
Poole host second from bottom Bishops Cleeve tomorrow and make the short trip to 10th placed Southampton side Sholing on Monday.
• Second placed Brislington host runaway Western League leaders Bishop Sutton at 1500 today in one of a host of Good Friday non-League derby matches across the region, which kick off from 1100 onwards.
Instead of the traditional alphabetical order for today's Western League and Peninsula South West fixtures I have listed the games in order of kick off times hoping this makes Easter ground-hopping easier for fans aiming to get to two or more non-League derbies today.

Just to confirm the Cheddar v Portishead Town First Division game kicks off at 1300.
