Saltash United AFC boss Matt Cusack is hoping his Peninsula Premier pacesetters set a new standard when they host St Blazey AFC at Kimberley today (1500ko).
The Ashes are on the verge of setting a new club record seven-match winning SWPL start but Cusack doesn't want to stop there.
Cusack admits: “Records are there to be broken and hopefully this will not be the only one we have our sights set on this season.
“Having equalled the six match winning start is an achievement by these players already so we don’t feel under any pressure. It really is all about going out there with a one-game-at-a-time mentality.”
Richard Maddison - ruled out by injury since scoring a cracking opener at Tiverton - is set to wing back in to United’s winning squad although central midfielder Danny Bance (calf) face a fitness race.
