Wright, 29, has enjoyed a goal-den spell since teaming up with Southern Premier high-fliers Taunton Town from Truro City four years ago.

The popular targetman also led from the front as club captain at Taunton.

Now he has been unveiled as one of six new players who have agreed to team up with Parkway when football resumes.

Former Parkway players Mike Landricombe and Stevie Colwell are also set to return to new-look Bolitho Park from the Southern Premier.

The pair will continue to sport yellow jerseys, as they spent last season play-off chasing at high-flying Tiverton Town.

In an exciting twist incoming new Parkway assistant manager Matt Cusack - who resurrected Saltash United's fortunes in recent seasons - is set to be joined at Bolitho Park by Ashes ace Ryan Richards, another Plymothian.

Free-scoring Richards cracked in 34 goals in 24 games last term before the season was brought to a premature conclusion.

Another former Saltash United player Callum Hall - who was with Southern One newcomers Willand Rovers last season - is also set to join Plymouth's yellows along with highly rated youngster Harrison Davis.

While announcing six new signings in a social media whirlwind, Parkway also revealed departures from Bolitho Park would include Plymouth-based defender Aaron Bentley, atttacking/goalscoring wing back Jordan Copp, midfielder Craig Duff, 22-year-old defender Jack Calver and top scorer Adam Carter.
