NON-LEAGUE Tonight's three games rained off

IVYBRIDGE Town suffered their second successive rain-off in six days when tonight's Western League Premier match at Saltash was postponed.

The decision was made after a rain-soaked afternoon inspection of the waterlogged pitch at Kimberley Stadium.

It followed the postponement of Ivybridge’s home match against Nailsea and Tickenham last Saturday. The fixture has now been rearranged for Saturday March 8, 2025.

The Ivies now have a blank week before their next game, a league match away to Shepton Mallet on Saturday December 14.

Ivybridge's next home match is on Saturday December 21 when Welton Rovers visit Erme Valley.

The South West Peninsula League game at Bovey Tracey (versus Teignmouth) and cup tie at Plymstock-based Elburton Villa (versus Newton Abbot Spurs) were also washed off by more rain following on the heels of storms Bert and Connell.

The Villa-Spurs cup tie has been hastily rescheduled for Tuesday December 10.

Tomorrow's Malmesbury Victoria versus Westfields (Hereford) Hellenic Prem meeting in Wiltshire was postponed today due to the weather.

Anticipate more call-offs tomorrow after another spell of heavy rain today on already storm-saturated grass pitches.
