University of Plymouth face a repeat of last season’s men’s Devon Cup hockey final when they face holders Isca at University of Exeter today (1330).
Exeter-based Isca – who boast a first team in the men’s regional Davis Wood Hockey League top flight – beat the Plymouth students 5-1 in last season’s showpiece.
The University side – whose top team play in Premier Three – will again start as underdogs in the men’s final despite a hard fought 3-2 semi-final win over divisional and cross-city rivals PGSOB.
In the men’s Trophy final ECV Hornets B meet North Devon at 1130.
There is also a familiar look to the women’s Devon Cup final at 1530 as Teign meet University of Plymouth in a re-run of last year’s quarter-finals.
Teign won that meeting on penalties after the tie finished 3-3. Regular finalists Teign were pipped 1-0 by Isca 2 in last year’s final.
University of Plymouth and Teign also meet in the women’s second team Devon Trophy final (0930).
