The 2014 half of the NOW: Pensions England Hockey Men’s Conference West season starts with a cracking top of the table clash in Cardiff today.
Team Bath Buccaneers resume their title quest at defending champions Cardiff & Met the Welsh Institute of Sport at 1300.
Buccs begin the day - the year - at the summit on 27 points following 11 rounds while Cardiff are third on 23.
Isca restart their Conference West campaign at home to promotion chasing Indian Gymkhana at the University of Exeter Sports Park at 1230.
The Exeter club begin 2014 at the foot of the table following Guildford’s surprise 2-0 win over seventh placed Fareham in the last round of matches of 2013.
Isca were pipped 4-3 in a close encounter away to Indian Gym, now second in the table and just two points behind Bath Buccs.
Fourth placed University of Exeter – 2-1 home winners over Cardiff 2-1 last time out – visit eighth placed Cheltenham (1300).
