Gloucestershire are eyeing promotion to the England Hockey men’s county championships top tier after clinching a B division semi-final place.
Pool three runners-up Gloucestershire meet pool four winners Norfolk in the B Division semi-finals at Old Loughtonians Hockey Club, Chigwell today at 1300.
Gloucestershire pipped pool three winners Yorkshire 3-2 in their opening match but lost 3-1 to border rivals Somerset on the second day of competition at Aldershot.

Cornwall and Devon are both through to the C Division semi-finals.
Devon topped pool six at Truro School with seven points and now meet pool 5 runners-up Leicestershire & Rutland at the same time – 11.00 - as pool six runners-up and hosts Cornwall play pool 5 winners Cheshire at Old Loughtonians HC today.
Pool six results Cornwall 5 Herefordshire 0, Devon 6 Wiltshire 2, Cornwall 1 Devon 4, Herefordshire 3 Wiltshire 2, Devon 5 Herefordshire 5, Cornwall 7 Wiltshire 3. RAF withdrew.
