"Never forget your roots" my rugby-mad Welsh grandma used to remind me. Who would have thought that years later I would be revisiting her sage advice to update a twitter guide to community rugby clubs from South Wales?

St Columba & Torpoint RFC has established a new youth rugby set-up for players aged six years and older.
Torpoint Tigers Youth Rugby train every Sunday from 1030-1200.

More and more community rugby clubs are tracking South West Sports News on twitter so we want to make sure those same teams are given the opportunity to pass on important club information.

BRISTOL LADIES RUGBY launch development programme

The highly successful Bristol Ladies Rugby team are setting up a development programme starting in September 2013.
The programme is designed for 16 to 19 year old girls who would like to combine academic studies with rugby development.

The top South West England Under 16 players are hoping to impress selectors at a special training camp in Gloucestershire over the next three days.
Hartpury College training camp is the next step in the England Under 16 selection process ahead of internationals against Italy Under 17s - at Lichfield on April 1 - and Wales Under 16s, at Oxford University on April 6.
