EXETER CHIEFS Youth gets fling, Hogg returns

exeter ChiefslogoExeter Chiefs director of rugby Rob Baxter and his fellow coaches are getting ‘huge satisfaction’ from the way a number of the club’s up-and-coming players are adapting to life in the top flight.

Youngsters Marcus Street, James Kenny, Richard Capstick, Harvey Skinner and Josh Hodge have all played their part in recent weeks, helping the reigning Premiership champions put together a three-game victory streak bagging wins over Worcester Warriors, Newcastle Falcons and London Irish.

Today the quintet will feature once more as Exeter host Northampton Saints (1500ko).

Teaming up alongside more established Chiefs names, they will be entrusted with the imminent task of catapulting second placed Exeter back to the top of the table.

Fly half Skinner is one of two changes to the Exeter back division, replacing Joe Simmonds who will start this game on the bench, while Hodge switches to the wing in place of Alex Cuthbert.

Scotland’s inspirational captain Stuart Hogg returns at full-back.
