Exeter Chiefs have bolstered their front row options ahead of the new Premiership season with the acquisition of Greg Bateman from Championship side London Welsh.
The talented hooker - who celebrates his 24th birthday today - can also play at tight-head prop if required and has agreed a two-year deal with Chiefs after spending the past two seasons with the Exiles.

New Plymouth Albion head coach James Shanahan has made backs Pale Nonu and Ben Woods his first signings.
Nonu, 34, is brother of All Blacks ace Ma'a Nonu, plays in the centre and joins from Albion's RFU Championship rivals Rotherham Titans.

Scrum half Dave Lewis will be donning the colours of Exeter Chiefs next season after he agreed a move from Aviva Premiership rivals Gloucester.
Having joined the Cherry & Whites as an 18-year-old in 2007, the 23-year-old admits he is relishing a new opportunity at Sandy Park having agreed a two-year deal with the Devon club.

Exeter Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter has made his first signing for next season with the capture of Wales international wing Tom James from the Cardiff Blues.
The highly rated 25-year-old has agreed a two-year deal with the ambitious Aviva Premiership club and is set to team up with Chiefs after a successful seven-year stint with the Welsh region.

Bath Rugby have swooped to sign highly experienced Irish scrum half Peter Stringer as short-term injury cover.
With 98 caps Cork-born Stringer, 35, is the Ireland's most-capped scrum-half as well as making 232 appearances for Munster.

National League Two South 10-try top scorer Tom Duncan and highly-rated Redruth teammate Owen Hambly have signed for Cornish Pirates.
Number 8 Duncan, 22, and flanker Hambly, 25, will train with the Pirates one day a week and remain available on loan to the promotion-chasing Reds for the rest of the season.
