Cornwall is correctly recognised as a rugby hotbed and Redruth RFC are right at the heart of the county.
Quite simply, red hot.
The Reds play at the Recreation Ground and I grew up making regular visits there with my father and family friends.
The ground boasts the famous Hellfire Corner and as a youngster I can recall standing with thousands of fellow rugby fans cheering on Cornwall at the Rec.
Redruth play in National Two South with director of rugby Adrian Edwards at the helm.
